Joy Behar Remains Silent as Her Own Blackface Image Resurfaces

Joy Behar has just become the latest liberal celebrity to have an image surface of her wearing blackface, only Behar’s comes complete with a clip of her boasting about wearing it just a few years ago.

All eyes of the nation are currently on the blackface scandals of top Virginia Democrats like Governor Ralph Northam. As calls for these Democrats to step down grow, images of various liberal Hollywood personalities wearing blackface like late night hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon have started making the rounds. Now, Behar’s racist past has been exposed as well.

Fox News reported that a 2016 clip from “The View” has just resurfaced in which Behar proudly shows off a photo of herself wearing blackface while dressing as a “beautiful African woman” when she was 29 years-old in the early 1970s.

Behar Boasts About Looking “So Cute” in Blackface

“The View” went so far as to show the image of Behar wearing blackface on air and the dialogue that follows between the host is absolutely cringe-worthy in the scope of what’s happening today.

“Joy, are you black?” asked former cohost Raven-Symoné.

“I was so cute,” Behar boasted (she wasn’t).

“Joy… are you my auntie, Joy?” Raven-Symoné asked.

That’s when Behar explained that she was dressed up as a “beautiful African woman,” to which Raven-Symoné asked, “Did you have tanning lotion on, Joy?”

Behar responded by blatantly admitting she used makeup “that was a little bit darker than my skin.”

If you’re waiting for Behar to be fired for her history of wearing blackface, don’t hold your breath, as getting fired for something like this is something that only happens to conservatives in this country. If Behar were a conservative pundit on “The View,” liberals would already have their pitchforks sharpened and be calling for mass boycotts of ABC until they showed her the door. Since Behar spends her days on “The View” spewing anti-Trump liberal propaganda, however, she is given a free pass for racism. Think of it as the ultimate get out of jail free card!

The Left Ignores It

Accusations of racism, sexism, and homophobia have become weapons for the left to take down conservative personalities who pose a threat to them. When one of their own is hit with these actions, liberals have the opposite reaction and try to ignore the scandal as much as possible until it simply goes away. While a conservative would be in full panic mode if a blackface image like the one above surfaced, Behar has nothing to worry about. As long as she continues to be a hate-filled anti-Trump liberal tool, the left will be there to protect her all the way.
