The Rock Speaks Out to Defy the Culture of ‘Snowflakes’

It seems that people are offended by virtually everything these days. “Snowflakes” have completely taken over society and work overtime to make sure that whatever has “triggered” them is banned.

In their obsession with political correctness, Hollywood has enabled snowflakes by catering to them and scrambling to try and make them happy again whenever they become offended. That’s why it came as a welcome surprise when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson defied Hollywood to slam snowflakes in an epic new interview.

Fox News reported that Johnson, who has become one of the most popular stars in Hollywood, said that snowflakes are doing a major disservice to the war heroes who fought and died for our freedom of speech.

“I don’t have to agree with what somebody thinks, who they vote for, what they voted for, what they think, but I will back their right to say or believe it,” he told The Daily Star. “That’s democracy.”

“So many good people fought for freedom and equality – but this generation are looking for a reason to be offended,” Johnson continued. “If you are not agreeing with them, then they are offended – and that is not what so many great men and women fought for.”

Johnson went on to say that while our society has made great strides in some ways over the past few decades, snowflakes are doing us a huge disservice as a culture now.

“People can be who they want, be with who they want, and live how they want,” he said. “That can only be a good thing – but generation snowflake or, whatever you want to call them, are actually putting us backwards.”

Johnson could not be more spot on with this interview. Our first amendment rights are on the line right now thanks to little snowflakes who seem to be offended and triggered by every little thing. If society continues to cater to these snowflakes and give in to their demands, we will soon be left not able to do or say anything that could be deemed controversial. We applaud Johnson for using his platform as one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood to urge his fellow stars to stop listening to the demands of snowflakes.
