-With WWE’s final PPV of 2018 nearly here-TLC happens December 16-we are hearing rumors of what is planned for the big show.
According to Cagesideseats.com, we may see at least two titles changing hands when all is said and done. As of this writing, there are five scheduled title matches:
Becky Lynch versus Charlotte Flair versus Asuka (SmackDown Women’s Title)
Seth Rollins versus Dean Ambrose (Intercontinental Championship)
Daniel Bryan versus AJ Styles (WWE Championship)
Ronda Rousey versus Nia Jax (RAW Women’s Championship)
The Bar versus The New Day (SmackDown tag titles).
Brock Lesnar is not defending the Universal Championship on the show, so his title will not be changing hands. Also, as of this writing, AoP, current RAW tag team champions, do not have a scheduled match.
With the matches we know about, and considering storylines that have been rumored heading into the Road to WrestleMania, there are two champions who seem to be most at risk: Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.
For Becky Lynch, this can be seen as a way to set up a possible WrestleMania bout with Ronda Rousey. Lynch was forced out of her scheduled Survivor Series match due to injury. All indications are that WWE is still high on eventually pitting the Irish Lass Kicker against the Baddest Woman on the Planet.
For Seth Rollins, should he drop the title, he has a few options. He has long been rumored for another Universal Title chance, and he already owns one victory over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania (albeit in a triple threat match). He’s also been dealing with Drew McIntyre a bit recently. Of course, if Rollins does indeed drop the belt, we could still see him feud with former partner Dean Ambrose for a brief period of time as well.
Knowing WWE, two different titles will end up changing hands.
-Many wrestling fans have followed the on again/off again saga between Nikki Bella and John Cena. With that relationship pretty much dead, Nikki is speaking out about her desire to date again. As you’d expect, due to her fame, she’s unable to use normal dating sites and apps.
As it is, Nikki has gone on to say that she expects her next flame to be a fellow wrestler or entertainer. Considering what she does for a living and the circles she travels in, it is far more likely for Bella to meet and date someone in a similar career as her own.
