RIZIN 14: North America PPV Broadcast Will Not Include Tenshin Nasukawa vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Hardcore fans in North America have been waiting to hear how they can watch the NYE RIZIN 14 card, and while that’s been announced, so far, it looks like the broadcast will not include the exhibition bout between Tenshin Nasukawa and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

FITE TV has confirmed that the streaming service will be offering RIZIN 14, but, the platform has also announced  that “Mayweather vs Nasukawa will not be aired in the USA, Canada, Mexico or Japan.”

So, unless something changes, it looks like that broadcast will not feature the headliner, which you may or may not care about. On one hand, sure, it’s a three round, exhibition boxing match, so plenty of people are sceptical whether Mayweather Jr. is really going to exchange much with Nasukawa to begin with. After all, he has little to gain by doing so.

But, considering Nasukawa is one of the top prospects in all of combat sports, and Mayweather Jr. is one of the most decorated boxers of all time, there certainly seemed to be hype behind the contest here in North America.

Here is the line-up for the NYE pay-per-view, which will get underway on December 30th at 10:00 PM/PST in Saitama, Japan.
