In just his seventh, pro-MMA bout, Mickey Gall is going to take on one of the UFC’s most experienced fighters, Diego Sanchez.
The promotion has announced that Gall and Sanchez are going to battle at UFC 235, March 2nd.
Gall (5-1) is coming off a quick, submission win over veteran George Sullivan in August. That win followed Gall’s first career loss, as in November, he lost via decision to Randy Brown.
Sanchez (28-11) meanwhile, earned a decision win over Craig White in his last scrap, which took place September. That bout followed back-to-back losses to Al Iaquinta and Matt Brown.
So, this is a huge opportunity for Gall, as he’ll be facing a guy who has been on the UFC roster since 2005. It also has all the makings of an outstanding, entertaining fight.
UFC 235 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
