WWE Contract News On AJ Styles & Others

– In 2016, AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson debuted for WWE; although we should note how this is Gallows second run with the promotion. According to PWInsider, all three have their deals expire in 2019.

For Styles, his contract ends in April with Gallows & Anderson signed until September. Even though Styles has received the bigger push, WWE will probably try to re-sign  all three before another company gets the chance.

Styles debuted during the Royal Rumble match and was quickly pushed into the main event scene. He is a two time WWE Champion and recently held the title for just over a year. Gallows & Anderson came into WWE hot, but the push quickly ended. They have a brief RAW tag team title reign under their belts.

While New Japan Wrestling has showed interest brining all three back, a major hurdle would be uplifting their families. Not matter what, 2019 is already shaping up to be an important year for several wrestlers.

– Despite some earlier reports from Mark Henry, it appears Alexa Bliss has not been cleared by WWE. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE are being extremely careful with Bliss.

Bliss has been spotted in the WWE Performance Center recently, where she is using a ring that has extra padding. This has allowed Bliss to take minor bumps with extra cushion to support her landing.

Concussions are a serious problem and Bliss apparently suffered several in a short period of time; with the most recent happening before October’s Evolution pay per view. She was having trouble remembering basic information like what city she was in due to the concussions.

There is still no return date for Bliss inside the ring, but the Royal Rumble in January has been mentioned. In the meantime, she remains on TV in a position of handling the RAW women’s division.
