The UFC is in Buenos Aires, Argentina for the promotion’s latest event today, and the card will feature a pivotal bout between welterweight contenders Neil Magny and Santiago Ponzinibbio.
In Magny (21-6) you have one of the most durable and active fighters on the UFC roster, evidenced by the fact he’s fought 11 times since 2015. During that time Magny has defeated established fighters like Carlos Condit, Johny Hendricks, Hector Lombard and Kelvin Gastelum.
Ponzinibbio (26-3), meanwhile, is riding a six-fight winning streak which includes three stoppage victories. Thanks to the run, the heavy-handed Argentinian fighter will likely move into the title shot mix, if he gets by Magny.
