RAW Superstar Working Injured?

– We’ve already posted early today about one Monday Night RAW superstar, Braun Strowman, working injured, and reports have surfaced that another might be working through the pain on the Red roster as well.

While Jinder Mahal was once the United States Champion and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, as of late, he’s been working mid-card programs at best. He has been involved with the recent Mixed Match Challenge along with partner Alicia Fox; however, Mahal’s current position on the RAW roster isn’t what it once was within the company.

Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer recently noted that Jinder hasn’t been looking too great in matches as of late, and this could be due to a shoulder injury.

Here’s hoping that if he is working through this injury, it doesn’t become too serious. Being out of ring action can hurt an upper and mid-card talent, and Mahal could use the television time right about now.

– As the company’s annual flagship event, Wrestlemania is a big deal for the WWE, and they love to plan early and secure locations well ahead of time to truly help build the event. While plans for Wrestlemania 35 are well underway, head honchos at the company are already looking into venue options for the following year’s event.

Barnburner’s Fired Up Joe Peisich recently noted on his podcast that there are rumblings around Wrestlemania 36 taking place at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota. In fact, fans should look for a huge announcement within the next few weeks. According to Peisich, the company will be having a show in Minneapolis on November 27th, and that is when they plan on making the big Wrestlemania 36 venue announcement.

Nothing has been confirmed by the WWE as of yet, so fans will have to wait for the coming weeks to see if the Wrestlemania announcement comes to fruition.
