Kairi Sane Diagnosed With Hand-Foot-And-Mouth Disease

Kairi Sane has enjoyed great success on the NXT brand of late. Unfortunately, reports came that Kairi was struck down with a mystery illness. Now, it has come to light Kairi has been diagnosed with hand-foot-and-mouth disease.

What Is Hand-Foot-And-Mouth Disease?

Hand-foot-and-mouth disease is an infection caused by viruses. The illness begins with a high fever and then goes into severe rashes with blisters, spots, and bumps on the hands, feet, and the mouth.

An illness such as hand-foot-and-mouth disease is extremely contagious, with symptoms occurring three to six days after virus exposure.

Even though Kairi came down with the disease, hand-foot-and-mouth disease is most common in children under 10. Adults can encounter serious complications due to the illness, so the condition can be more dangerous in adults than in children.

How Is Kairi Doing?

Kairi has been keeping her fans posted on social media, despite feeling incredibly ill. On November 22, she tweeted a temperature of 39.3. She also mentioned having eczema on her hands, feet, and mouth, a typical symptom of the illness.

“The fever has gone down, but now my hands, feet and mouth have a mysterious eczema… Ouch you go to the hospital with it?(even in the United States, hand, Foot and Mouth Disease) It is a disease that infants under 5 years old have been examined, why did the virus enter my body by mistake? Lol” – Kairi Sane

There is some good news from the Kairi camp though. A couple of hours ago, she tweeted she is feeling much better.

When Will Kairi Be Back?

Considering how infectious hand-foot-and-mouth disease is, it is impossible to tell when she will be back. The initial symptoms of the disease kick in one to two days after encountering the disease and can last up to a whole week.

The real problem with the disease is the hand-foot-and-mouth disease can still be infectious for some time after getting it. The virus can spread through the blisters on the skin, but also by coughing, sneezing, and saliva in general. Thus, it is quite likely that Kairi Sane will be kept on the bench for some time.
