Conor McGregor’s Price To Work WWE Show, Jim Duggan Out Of The ICU

– The most popular fighter and biggest box office draw is easily Conor McGregor. On WWE’s ends, their top star in recent months seems to be Becky Lynch. They are both so popular that they have exchanged compliments on Twitter in recent weeks. 

WWE has no problem using former UFC fighters on their show like Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey and Ken Shamrock. So, they are certainly interested in using McGregor is some fashion. During the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented on the possibility of McGregor working a quick appearance for WWE.

“He can do anything he wants, they’ll have to pay him something, but will it be as much as he wants,” questioned Meltzer. “I’ll put it this way, if he’s angling for money they’re not gonna come close to his price. He’s not gonna do a match I don’t think.”

If McGregor was to wrestle or appear for WWE, the promotion would need at least $10 million before talks get serious. As for the role, McGregor would likely work WrestleMania or if WWE produced a massive show from Ireland that world air on their network. The idea of having McGregor in Becky’s corner at WrestleMania 35 with another UFC fighter in the corner of Ronda Rousey has also been discussed. 

After almost two years away, McGregor returned at UFC 223. He lost to UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and after the fight, a massive brawl broke out. We are still waiting for the fallout from those actions.
