While most people get themselves and their children vaccinated for the flu and other diseases, a vocal minority refuses to do so. These so-called “anti-vaxxers” refuse to get the proper precautionary treatment for a number of reasons, ranging from cost concerns to the belief that vaccinations can lead to autism.
In the U.S., the majority of parents vaccinate their kids but the debate over whether this is a good or bad decision has raged for a number of years now. Those who claim that vaccinating children presents some kind of danger to the child are actually a danger themselves and potentially put children who aren’t old enough to get vaccinated at risk for life-threatening illness.
An estimated 1 in 3 parents won’t vaccinate their children this year. Those numbers should terrify you.
However, one nurse seems to have found a solution.

“Some of you aren’t going to like this, but it’s flu season so here we go…” she started. “I think people that don’t want to vaccinate should have the freedom to do so. If they think that ‘Big pharma’ is just trying to turn a profit or poison us all… they should be allowed to believe that.”
BUT…
“But the caveat to that is this: Then they should NOT go to the doctor or the hospital when they get sick, looking for treatment.
That’s right. And here’s why: Big pharma makes those antibiotics we are going to pump you full of when you are about to die from sepsis.
“The steroids and epi we might give you to save your life from your anaphylaxis? Yep, big pharma is behind that too.
That inhaler you need to treat your kids asthma? Better pass on that as well, because… you guessed it… brought to you by Big P.
Having a heart attack? Better break out your essential oils and get your affairs in order, because the only thing we have to offer you is medicine and procedures brought to you by the very same people who are responsible for those vaccines you insist are evil.
Having a massive stroke? Can’t talk or move half your body? Well no TPA for you. Even though it could potentially reverse every symptom of your stroke in minutes…Because big pharma is making a killing on that stuff.. I think it’s like $25k a pop.
And when you get diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, don’t even think about chemo….
She makes a good point! Because of anti-vaxxers, we are actually seeing the potential for diseases we have controlled for decades coming back and doing some real damage. There is no reason for this! The CDC has done numerous studies that have found time and again that there is no link between vaccinations and autism. Should I repeat that one more time? There is NO link between vaccinations and autism!
The only risk here is the one you’re taking by doing nothing. It’s time to end the mythology surrounding this commonplace practice.
