Charlotte Flair Accused Of Racism, Alexa Bliss Misses House Show

Charlotte Flair has been dealing with issues pertaining to her now ex-husband. Flair’s ex, Riki Paul Johnson, is suing the WWE Superstar over claims she made in her book, which Johnson claims are not accurate. But, in addition to coming out against the content of the book, Johnson alleges something much worse as a part of his $5.5 million lawsuit.

In his lawsuit, Johnson claims that, during a 2008 incident with police in North Carolina, Charlotte Flair made use of racist language when speaking to responding officers, as covered by mandatory.com. Flair’s ex goes so far as to say that footage of Charlotte making these remarks should exist, by way of police dash cam footage of the incident.

Even though the incident allegedly happened ten years ago, should video of the event come to light, WWE will have a decision to make. When years-old footage of Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan emerged, showing Hogan making racist remarks, WWE distanced themselves from him and only recently rescinded his suspension from the company.

-As was reported by Wrestling Observer, Alexa Bliss missed the big Supershow that WWE produced out of Boston on Sunday night. She was not the only Superstar who was advertised but did not appear, but her absence is more notable.

While it is, for now, only speculation, the concern is that Alexa Bliss was missing the Boston show because she was re-injured. Since she just recently came back from injury, this concern is very real. With Evolution just around the corner, WWE no doubt wants to be careful about one of their top Superstars, especially given her role on the show.

Conversely, without news of a new injury to Bliss, it is entirely possible that someone decided that she needed a rest day to help ensure she does not re-aggravate her injury.

In addition to Bliss not appearing, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns had been advertised but did not appear. Also, newly returned WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio was advertised but did not show. Fans in Boston were rightfully disappointed by not seeing Mysterio.
