Backstage News On Vince McMahon At SmackDown
The United States is in substantial debt and that figure grows every day. It might take a business person who took a single territory promotion and created the largest wrestling promotion ever witnessed. Nobody ever thought Vince McMahon could take the WWE and turn it into a billion dollar company. His attitude of working 20 plus hours a day has shown and he might be one of the few people with the creativeness to fix our economy.

– It takes a special moment for Vince McMahon to appear on TV, let alone SmackDown. With SmackDown 1,000 last week, it was the perfect time for WWE’s boss to be present and appear. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, McMahon is rarely backstage for SmackDown nowadays. At last Tuesday’s show, it saw a Truth TV Segment where R-Truth, Carmella, Vince, Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon danced to the delight of the crowd.

Vince is backstage for almost every RAW, but usually heads home or back to WWE offices on Tuesday. Still, he has a heavy presence about what happens with SmackDown. He overlooks the script and makes any changes before the final version is done. Triple H and Brian James “Road Dogg” usually work the gorilla position.

When Vince announced the return of the XFL, he said it would not impact his WWE responsibilities. The XFL is set to return in 2020 and will have no cross promotion with pro wrestling. As for next year, when SmackDown moves to Fox, it will be interesting if Vince starts working backstage again for the blue brand so they get off to a good start.
