‘Good Times’ Star Defies Hollywood Liberals To Defend Donald Trump

In the liberal world of Hollywood, it’s rare to find any any actor who is brave enough to risk their career by defending President Donald Trump. That’s why it came as a welcome surprise when comedian Jimmie Walker of “Good Times” fame just spoke out to take a stand for Trump.

Fox News reported that Walker recently opened up to reveal why he refuses to mock the President.

“I take him on a case-by-case basis,” Walker said. “And I think… a lot of people thought Hillary [Clinton] was going to win and they just haven’t gotten over it. Trump is correct, there is fake news out there. CNN and MSNBC have said Trump can’t win. But people in America love Trump. It’s just the big cities that hate him. They’re the ones that haven’t gotten over it.”

“What they should be doing, the Democrats, is saying, ‘You know, we hated that we lost this. So we need to get a candidate right now and get ready for 2020.’ You didn’t make it, it’s over. Let it go,” the comedian continued.

Walker is currently promoting his new standup special alongside Michael Winslow titled “We’re Still Here.” Though his comments defending Trump may land him in hot water, Walker doesn’t seem to mind, as he has always been an outspoken comedian who is not afraid to express his opinion.

“I have always felt that I had something to say,” he explained. “And standup is where I got my start. I’ve been around long enough to see people come and go, become successful and then fade out… But hopefully, audiences can still expect something funny.”

It’s so refreshing to see a Hollywood star who actually has an intelligent opinion on President Trump! Perhaps more celebrities will see this and realize that most of America is sick and tired of their constant Trump bashing.
