The Right is staking their claim on the movie industry and bringing us some exciting films that conservatives will actually want to see.
Unbroken: Path to Redemption
2014’s Unbroken failed to highlight the Christian aspect of Louis Zamperini’s life. The Angelina Jolie directed film instead was centered on the Olympic athletes’ time in a prisoner of war camp during World War II.
Unbroken: Path to Redemption picks up where the original movie left off. Zamperini’s life was extraordinary and his path to becoming an evangelical Christian was a focal point of his life. His love of Christ helped heal the Olympic track star’s emotional wounds from the war and through Jesus, Zamperini learned the importance of forgiveness.
This is a movie that Christians will flock to as it’s not a story typically told by Hollywood. A trailer for this important film is below.
The Current War
This movie highlights the importance of capitalism. It details the battle between George Westinghouse and Thomas Edison as they compete to create “the war of currents,” which determined whose electrical system would power and dominate the modern world.
The Current War shows audiences how the free market and competition ends up producing a better result. As Democrats are pushing socialism, this movie is an important one to watch, highlighting how capitalism spurs ingenuity.
This movie will be released on December 22nd and the cast is full of A-list stars. To name a few, Nikola Tesla, Graham Bell, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Tom Holland will all be gracing the silver screen. A trailer for the movie is below.

Gosnell: The Trial Of America’s Biggest Serial Killer
This long anticipated movie opens October 12th. Producers Ann and Phelim McCallister knew Hollywood would never tell this story, so they turned to crowdfunding to raise the money.
Kermit Gosnell is an abortionist and now known as one of the country’s biggest serial killers. His clinic was a house of horrors for both babies and pregnant women. Dr. Gosnell was ultimately convicted of killing three children who were born alive in his clinic. He cut their spinal cords shortly after birth to ensure their deaths. Gosnell was convicted of involuntary manslaughter of a woman who came to his clinic. He also was convicted of over 200 violations of Pennsylvania’s laws.
The government turned a blind eye to his horrific practices of butchering children in illegal manners. Local authorities knew. Hospitals who had to treat injured women knew. Abortion activists knew. The judge who presided over Gosnell’s 2013 trial even attempted to block the movie from being released. They all turned their heads to cover-up these gruesome stories in order to protect their sacred cow of abortion.
The media took a pass on covering this trial. It was an important topic about women and children’s health and a doctor who spared them no mercy in order to make a buck. The mainstream media couldn’t even bother to phone it in on this story as it showcased the horrors of abortion.
