carrie underwood plastic surgery

Country music star and Tell Me Now fan-favorite Carrie Underwood spoke out once again to shut down rumors that her horrifying fall in Nashville last November was just a stunt to cover up plastic surgery.

USA Today reported that Underwood’s fall at her home resulted in a broken wrist and forty stitches, yet rumors have persistently swirled that it was actually a coverup for her getting a nose job and other work done. During an interview this past week, Underwood called these rumors “sad.”

“The truth is just as interesting I wish I’d gotten some awesome plastic surgery to make this (scar) look better,” Underwood said. “But I try not to worry too much about it.“

“I’m on some magazine every other week for something crazy,” she continued.

Underwood went on to say that 2017 was a difficult year for her that caused her to do some serious soul searching.

“There were some personal things that happened. And I had the accident and all of that to get through … and just life,” she said. “Life is full of ups and downs, and I might have had a few more downs than ups last year.”

Right after her fall, Underwood warned her fans that she was “not quite looking the same.”

Underwood said that she was taking her dogs out for a walk on that fateful night.

“I went to catch myself and I just missed a step,” she explained.

Though Underwood thought she looked “pretty bad in the beginning,” her fans noticed virtually no difference in her appearance when she reemerged months later.

“I look at myself (now) and I see (the scars) quite a bit, but other people are like, ‘I wouldn’t have even noticed,'” she said.

Underwood’s career has grown since she stepped out on American Idol, but she’s taken time to playe for our troops and of course sings with her son.

We’re glad to see that Underwood is shutting down these vicious rumors, and that she seems to be doing a whole lot better!
