Tim Conway Tries To Get Rid Of His Wife But Carol Is Resilient

If you’re anything like me, you loved watching “The Carol Burnett Show” when you were growing up. There’s nothing quite like the humor that was exhibited in that amazing program, and it is still making people laugh decades after it aired.

Now, one of the best sketches from the show has resurfaced, and it’s sure to bring a smile to your face!

The sketch features Burnett as a housewife and Tim Conway as her construction worker husband who wants nothing more than to get rid of her. With her typical comedic flair, Burnett is completely oblivious to the fact that her husband wants her gone. Hilarity ensues as Conway continues to try and get rid of his wife who manages to dodge his plans at every turn, despite clearly not being the sharpest tool in the shed herself!

This is just one of the many hilarious sketches that were shown during the eleven years “The Carol Burnett Show” was on the air. The show ran from 1967 to 1978 and immediately became one of the most beloved programs on television. Burnett and Conway were joined on the show by comedic legends like Harvey Korman and Vicki Lawrence, and all of them played a huge role in making the show a massive success.

They really don’t make shows like this one anymore!

In the decades since her show ended, Burnett has continued to make people all over the world laugh with her numerous other comedic parts. One of her most well known roles is that of Miss Hannigan in the movie “Annie,” for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. Burnett actually won five Golden Globe Awards for her work on “The Carol Burnett Show.”

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
