Katy Perry Cade Foehner

Katy Perry continues to use “American Idol” as her personal dating platform. The new judge treated another male contestant like a piece of meat during Sunday night’s show.

Cade Foehner is the latest victim of the “Firework” singer’s harassment. Fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan had to restrain the singer from running to embrace the rocker after his performance of Jimi Hendrix’s “All Along With Watchtower.” Bryan ordered Perry to “Stay away, Katie.”

Perry apparently melted watching Foehner perform. She inappropriately joked “are we allowed to show this on ABC? Oh my gosh, is this rock ‘n’ roll? I saw some things that my minister parents had to shun.”

Foehner replied to her that he is a minister, so it’s okay. Perry took her attempted pick-up further by informing him, “You can preach to me anytime you want.”

She then removed the jacket that was over her dress and walked towards the Texas rocker before Lionel Richie restrained her.

A man would never be permitted to treat a female contestant like this. He would be accused of sexual harassment and become the target of the #MeToo movement. But, “American Idol” producers continue to allow Perry to treat the male singers of her choosing as sexual objects of her desire.

Cade Foehner handled it like a champ. He was completely unfazed by Katy Perry’s distasteful comments and conducted himself professionally as the other judges gave him feedback.

Rather than holding Katy Perry to the same standards they would a man, “American Idol” is promoting her behavior instead. They even highlighted her stealing the first kiss of another contestant. The show actually tweeted Perry’s reaction to Foehner in an attempt to promote the show.

Maybe by the time this competition is over, Foehner will be wearing a #MeToo shirt because of Perry’s treatment of him.
