Amazing Segment Between Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa!

Two wrestlers who have done amazing work at NXT over the past couple of weeks are undoubtedly Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. After an epic match at NXT Takeover New Orleans, I believed the rivalry was over. It seems I was wrong and I could not be happier about it!

Gargano Leaves NXT on a Stretcher!

When Gargano was making his entrance to face Aleister Black for the title, he suffered a devastating attack at the hands of Tommaso Ciampa. Unfortunately, this led to Gargano being led out of the arena on a stretcher, accompanied by his wife Candice Le Rae.

A lot of fans believe Gargano’s injury was real, mainly due to the reactions of WWE staff and Gargano’s wife. While I have not read anything about an injury, it certainly piqued my interested in this rivalry again.

Ciampa Coming Into the Main Event Picture?

Gargano and Ciampa have been main eventers for some time, but the pair is now being put in title pictures individually. I could not be happier for them, because these guys have put on some of the best shows over the past couple of months.

Even though I think it is unlikely Ciampa will topple Aleister Black’s reign, there could be a possibility if the WWE is thinking of upgrading Aleister Black to the main roster soon (although I think the chances are slim until the next Superstar Shakeup).

We must also think about the future when it comes to Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. Eventually, they will be put on the main roster and can you imagine the kind of matches these guys will produce if they are put against each other? Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn did something similar, and it was also a major success.
