Deadliest Catch Cornelia Marie

Deadliest Catch” will be returning for its 14th season in April. Much has happened since we last saw these men taking to the Bering Sea to fish. There have been times of darkness, but also much joy.

Since the season ended, there have been three weddings, two babies, and two funerals. There is much to catch up on when the show returns.

In April, Captain “Wild Bill” Wichrowski’s son, Zack Larson, married Dulce Zuloaga. Despite Wild Bill’s volatile relationship with his son, he did attend the wedding.

Zack and Dulce try to keep their private life private, but he did share a picture of their wedding party on Twitter.

Wild Bill got some sad news recently. One of his best friends and fishing partner, John Oatman, died in the fall.

Captain Johnathan Hillstrand of the Time Bandit retired last season. On the heels of that goodbye, Captain Johnathan has made some big life changes – he also got married. Hillstrand shared some touching moments from his wedding on Twitter. He reports in the video below that he was “crying like a baby” during their wedding.

Captain Johnathan has recently been out crab fishing, despite retiring. He just didn’t take a camera crew along. For a captain, you just can’t stay away from the sea!

During Season 13 of “Deadliest Catch,” Clark Pederson asked Mandy Hansen to marry him. Viewers remember Clark asking Captain Sig Hansen for permission to marry his daughter. The couple’s wedding technically occurred in the offseason as the show wasn’t shooting at that time, but the 13th season finale included some clips of the wedding.

Sig Hansen welcomed a grandson to the family when his oldest daughter Nina gave birth to Jaxsen.

Jake and Jenna Anderson also announced the birth of their second son, Cadence Anderson, who joins older brother Aiden.
