“The Carol Burnett Show” was one the most popular shows of the 1970s. Entire families would gather around their television sets to watch this hysterical sketch comedy. There was something people of every age could laugh at on this longstanding show.
Conway Tries to Get Korman to Laugh
Tim Conway was great at improvising and making his castmates laugh during the skits. This happened fairly regularly when he was in a skit alone with Harvey Korman. Conway would get even sillier just to try to get a laugh out of Harvey.
While on Conan O’Brien’s show, Tim Conway revealed that during one performance, Harvey was laughing so hard that he actually wet his pants!
It was a skit where Tim was playing a dentist. Harvey was there to have his tooth pulled.
The Novocaine Incident
When Tim was trying to inject the novocaine into Harvey’s gum, he accidentally injected himself. Of course, hilarity ensued and Harvey Korman had a hard time keeping it together as the camera rolled.
