Oakland Raiders Accused Of Injuring Their QB Over His Christian Faith

An NFL player’s wife made an alarming charge that the Oakland Raiders’ offensive line set up their quarterback Derek Carr to get injured because he is Christian and doesn’t support their protest during the National Anthem. If the Derek Carr injury was a result of his Christian faith, then the entire Raiders organization should face some serious consequences.

During an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” radio show, Miko Grimes, the wife of Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Brent Grimes, claimed that Carr wanted his teammates to read the Bible and stop their National Anthem protests. She then claimed the all-black offensive line intentionally failed to protect their Christian quarterback, causing him to get injured.

“Derek Carr is a Bible thumper to the fullest. And so he was basically trying to force the players to read the Bible before the game and do all this stuff, and they were like, ‘No, that’s you.’ And so he was so upset about it, when the whole offensive line said they were going to kneel, he was like, ‘No, you’re not kneeling,'” Grimes claimed. “No. No. This is America, you’re going to stand for the flag. And they got in a fight in the locker room, so when they came out to play, they basically had a plan.”

The Oakland Raiders are among the most active teams protesting the National Anthem. But, would they actually want their quarterback to be injured over this?

Carr was injured during the Raiders’ game against the Denver Broncos. He missed the next game before returning to the field with his team. Video of Carr’s injury is below. Do you think his teammates set him up?

Grimes’ accusations that Carr’s black teammates, who are paid millions to protect him, targeted him, sent shock waves throughout the NFL. Carr himself responded in a cryptic tweet.

Raiders offensive tackle Donald Penn also responded to Grimes’ “crazy” story.

Raiders cornerback Antonio Hamilton also tweeted about the alarming accusations. He didn’t mince words and called Grimes’ story a lie.
