Twitter is not a place for sensitive people. Many tweets, like many people, are downright brutal. It often seems like some Twitter users utilize the platform solely as an outlet to be downright mean.

Instead of taking it personally, Jimmy Kimmel often invites celebrities on his show to read mean tweets about themselves. Watching their reactions to the brutal tweets that are launched at them is just plain hilarious.

In honor of this week’s 51st CMAs, Jimmy invited some country stars to come on the show for another segment of Country Star Mean Tweets.

“I want to throw Blake Shelton off a highway overpass by his legs and watch him get obliterated by a Peterbuilt pulling a big stupid house,” Blake read without even panning a smile.

Zac Brown Band, Chris Young, Trace Adkins and Darius Rucker were just some of the Country stars who read a nasty tweet about themselves. They sound so funny when read aloud by the person they’re about! Fortunately, most all of the stars cracked up.

Watch the hilarious video below to see which mean tweet is your favorite, but be warned that some of the language is not safe for work or little ears!

Trace Adkins and Chris Stapleton’s reactions were my favorites! Thankfully, none of the singers appeared to be overly sensitive to these mean tweets.

This isn’t the first time Jimmy has had country stars read Mean Tweets. These segments are probably the best part of the show. It’s fun to see celebrities who don’t take themselves too seriously.

The first segment of Country Mean Tweets included Brett Eldredge and Carrie Underwood among the many Country artists. The results are fun to watch!

“Marijuana works wonders. Just look at Willie Nelson. The bastard is still alive and won’t tie,” the legend read before smiling in agreement in the video below.

I laughed out loud at Tim McGraw’s mean tweet. Which one was your favorite?
