tiger shark

There was a line in the Jaws movie series where the main character got a real close up look at the shark he was hunting. He turned around to the crew and said, “we’re going to need a bigger boat.”

In this case, these individuals hit the motherload with their catch. Three men stood in knee-deep water off the shore with probably the biggest catch of their lives. They begin to wrestle with what they believe to be an 11-foot tiger shark. The shark puts up a great fight, but since it’s so close to shore and they’re pulling it back by a rope around its tail, it doesn’t stand much of a chance.

The footage is remarkable. I, personally, have never seen a tiger shark out of the water, even in videos. At the end of their fight, you can really make out the reason they’re called tiger sharks. The markings on its side do look a lot like that of a tiger.

The video is sure to become a favorite of yours if you’re a nature lover and enjoy seeing humans getting to interact with such incredible creatures. Watch below as they corral this mammoth beast!

I could never do anything like this because I am not a water person. Secondly, sharks and I do not get along. The chemistry between us wouldn’t work. But I will give props to these men and take my hat off to them. Especially, the fact that they were brave enough to stand that close to something that could easily grab them and pull them deep into the sea!

This is one for the ages, don’t you agree?
