In the video below, an elderly couple thought they knew exactly what they were doing by testing out their house cat to see how it would react if the woman was being attacked.
Unfortunately for this couple, they probably didn’t know the extent of their cat’s determination.
I don’t know if I have ever seen anything like this before. This cat refused to stop attacking the man as he continued to pretend to hurt his wife. The cat didn’t care that the whole situation was staged, it was determined to protect the elderly woman!
I knew cats were silent stalkers who love to just lay around and relax but I never realized they had such aggression in them!

The couple sit down on the floor in a room, as the man sets up a camera. Then he kneels down in front of his wife and begins to pretend hitting her, while she starts crying out ‘in pain’. What the cat does later shocked the heck out of us!
The feline descends from the couch it was perched on and begins scratching and biting the assailant! Even when he stops and both humans start laughing, the cat won’t stop attacking the man. In fact, it seems that seeing how he ‘retracted his claws’ gives the brave feline courage to pay him back for what he did to her favorite human!
I have never seen a cat react so violently before! It clearly was very protective of its owner to go to such lengths to keep the wife safe, even though she was never in danger.
