Natalee Holloway Informant Reveals New Information About Her Disappearance

Natalee Holloway’s father Dave continues searching for clues regarding the disappearance of his daughter 12 years ago. The Alabama teen was on a class trip to Aruba to celebrate her high school graduation.

Recently, an informant, who used to live with suspect Joran Van der Sloot, has come forward and given Holloway some promising leads.

On the fifth episode of the six-part series of The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway, another claim was made that in 2010, Joran Van der Sloot and the informant dug up Natalee’s remains and doused her skull on fire with gasoline before they “pummeled” it into fragments and dust before throwing it all in the ocean. They only burned the skull because they wanted to destroy Natalee’s hair fibers.

This latest claim contradicts the same informant’s earlier claim that he alone dug up the remains, and mixed them with dog remains before having them cremated and thrown into the ocean.

Which claim is true, if either? Both are horrific things for a parent to hear, but Dave Holloway is searching for answers and he realizes after 12 long years, he isn’t going to like any of the discoveries he hears.

“I’ve been down this road too many times to get my hopes up,” Dave Holloway said. “If this turns out to be a hoax, then that’s a very sick person.” Holloway returned to Aruba again in search of more answers to his daughter’s disappearance. Video of his return is below.

A 2016 undercover sting by the Holloway’s private investigator, TJ Ward, uncovered the theory that Van der Sloot gave Natalee the date rape drug GHB, which led to her choking on her own vomit on the beach where he intended to rape her. She was buried on the beach, allegedly with the help of Van der Sloot’s father Paulus, who was a Dutch judge.

The informant claims he and Joran Van der Sloot dug up Natalee’s remains that were in a burlap sack and wrapped in a tarp. He said he “almost threw up right away.” When Ward asked what he was thinking, the informant tried to take any blame off himself.

“That I knew I wasn’t there when she died, and I’m not responsible for the death, there’s nothing I can do with that,” he said. “All I can do at this point was try to prove my friendship…Originally he [Van der Sloot] had discussed getting it cremated, but at that time it wasn’t legal but apparently some places, they do it for pets… The idea was to crush everything to the point where it’s not recognizable as arm bones or skull or anything like that,” he continued.

The informant claimed he and Van der Sloot rented a boat from a fisherman and disposed of Natalee’s remains at sea.

Recently, there were remains found near the alleged burial site. DNA tests proved they were from a woman of Eastern European descent, as Natalee was. Further tests haven’t been released yet, so Dave Holloway is still in search of answers.
