Natalee Holloway

Dave Holloway announced last week that his investigation into his daughter Natalee’s 2005 disappearance in Aruba led to the discovery of human remains. Dave has refused to let his daughter’s case go cold and he just might have broken it completely open. Initial heritage testing on those remains is consistent with Natalee’s heritage.

The remains are from a young woman of Eastern European descent, like Natalee Holloway. This is huge news in this case.

A Holloway insider broke the news, The Daily Mail is reporting. “So far all the indicators are that these bone fragments are the human remains of a young female, consistent with someone of eastern European descent,” the insider said. “This is in line with what the investigators would expect when it comes to Natalee’s family’s lineage. There’s still more testing to complete, but it should be wrapped up in less than two weeks and then the Holloway family will know for sure.”

The close source said a mitochondrial DNA test (mtDNA test) is being conducted at a U.S. lab. This test focuses on the matrilineal DNA, so Natalee’s mother Beth has submitted saliva for this test.

This could help give the Holloways some closure regarding what happened to their 18-year-old daughter who was in Aruba on a class trip.

More information on how Dave Holloway and his private investigator found these remains is in the video below.

Joran van der Sloot was never brought to justice over Natalee’s disappearance. He is currently in a Peruvian jail for the murder of another woman. An acquaintance of his claims that Joran gave Natalee a date rape drug which led to her choking and dying. Joran and his father, who was a judge, allegedly disposed of Natalee’s body.

Aruban officials claim no human remains were found, but they dropped the ball on this investigation for 12 years.
