Cleveland Browns‘ players received a message loud and clear from their fans and a legendary Brown — Jim Brown — who was upset that many of the players kneeled for the National Anthem during this year’s second preseason game.
Jim Brown said he didn’t believe in desecrating the flag or Colin Kaepernick’s protest during the National Anthem. He followed that by telling the team not to protest.

#Browns radio said Jim Brown spoke to the team and told them "do not disrespect your country, do not disrespect the flag''

It appears that this, coupled with backlash from local fans who promised to abandon the Browns if this continued, led to all of the Browns standing for the National Anthem during Saturday’s game in Tampa Bay.

Thankfully, these players got the message. The Cleveland Browns can’t afford to lose fans. They clearly understand their actions have consequences. If they continued in that fashion, they’d have found themselves out of a job, like Colin Kaepernick.
More information is in the video below.
This is how it’s done. The fans spoke and so did Jim Brown. The Browns ultimately need to sell tickets and merchandise. If that doesn’t happen, the players and management are all in trouble. Thankfully, this message was received!
Share this if you stand for the National Anthem!
