Marine homecoming

While Staff Sgt. Jeremy Cooney was serving our country in Afghanistan, his son was working hard to surprise him when he got home. Young Michael has cerebral palsy and was never supposed to be able to walk. But, when his father returned, Michael was determined to be able to walk to him.

Melissa Cooney kept this a secret from her Marine husband. She didn’t want to ruin the surprise by telling him that Michael was working with therapists to be able to walk.

Cooney got one heck of a shock when he was greeted by his son walking to him when he returned home from Afghanistan. It’s hard to watch the video below without shedding a tear! This is a very special military homecoming video!

That is amazing! What a terrific way to greet his father after months of separation. Michael worked incredibly hard to give his dad the surprise of a lifetime!

Share this if are proud of Michael and our military families!
