A horrific story in England is shining a light on the destructive nature of socialized medicine.
Charlie Gard is a 10 month old baby whose parents desperately want to bring him to the United States for treatment of a rare genetic condition. Over 1.4 million pounds have been raised for Charlie’s care. But, the courts aren’t allowing Charlie to go to the United States for treatment.

But, this story gets even worse. The doctors want to take Charlie off the ventilator, but his parents Connie Yates and Chris Gard want to bring him home to die since they are forbidden from taking their own child to the United States.
The court is refusing to allow them to even bring their son home to die. When you live under socialized medicine, the state determines who can live and who can die. Charlie’s parents have exhausted all of their appeals as the video below details.
Charlie was essentially sentenced to death. The state has stripped his parents of their rights. Not only can they not take him to the United States with privately raised money, but they can’t even chose the timing and location of their son’s death.
Charlie Gard should be the face of socialized medicine and the picture of his parents leaving court in a state of shock yesterday should be circulated around the globe.
