Sandra’s Boss Predictions for Extreme Rules!
it is time! A glorious time where we can see WWE superstars go crazy with anything and everything imaginable at Extreme Rules!
It is time! A glorious time where we can see WWE superstars go crazy with anything and everything at Extreme Rules! With many matches to look forward to, let’s take a closer look at my predictions for this year’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
The Fatal 5-Way
The Fatal 5-Way match is certainly one of the most discussed matches for this Sunday. Finn Balor is the clear favorite to win, although both my hubby and I hope that he loses. Anyone who wins now is just fodder for Brock Lesnar until he loses the title at WrestleMania against Roman Reigns.
Despite the predictable outcome and the fact that the winner might be fodder for Lesnar, this is still one of my favorite matches on the card.
The Intercontinental Championship Match
I certainly look forward to this match, because the Intercontinental Championship has been devalued somewhat over the past couple of weeks. Dean Ambrose has reached his ceiling at this point.
In my opinion, the Miz will take the title from Dean. I believe he will force a disqualification for Dean Ambrose, which means he automatically loses the title. I would like to see Renee Young in this match though, but I doubt we’ll get to see it.
Kendo Stick-On-A-Pole Match
Even though this match is a little vanilla for Extreme Rules, I’m looking forward to it. Still, if the WWE plays it smart, Alexa Bliss will keep the title. Then, she could move onto an opponent such as Asuka! Therefore, I predict (hope) that Alexa keeps the title this Sunday.
Tag Team Steel Cage Match
Another example of brilliant booking, and also one of my favorite matches in the line-up. Unfortunately, I believe the Hardy Boyz will lose the title.

It has been no secret that Vince has solo plans for Jeff Hardy. Sheamus and Cesaro need to establish themselves more as heels too, so gaining the RAW Tag Team Titles would do just that.
This rivalry has been going for too long in my opinion, but I’m still interested. Even though I don’t believe that Neville will drop the title and lose it to Austin Aries, I think Neville will lose the title to another heel in time – TJP. Therefore, I predict that Neville retains this Sunday.
Mixed Tag Team Match
Sasha Banks went from champ to pushing 205 Live matches. However, I’m a big fan of the Noam Dar and Alicia Fox combo! Unfortunately, I do believe it is a filler match meant to promote 205 Live. Therefore, I predict Sasha and Rich Swann will take the win.
Still, the WWE could make this into something big, providing it is getting the right promotion. The Noam Dar and Alicia Fox interactions have been hilarious, especially with Alicia’s psycho character. So, I would love to see Alicia and Noam win, but I don’t think it is in the cards at this point. Wait and see.
