North Korea Conducts Live Fire Drill

North Korea conducted its largest ever live fire artillery missile exercise on Tuesday. This was done to commemorate the 85th anniversary of its military. It also was seen as yet another threat towards the United States and its allies in the region.

It was suspected that North Korea would test its intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) on Tuesday, but it appears the hostile nation instead opted for this live fire drill. Many are seeing this as a sign that President Trump’s heavy-handed approach to North Korea is working.

South Korea is keeping an eye on the situation and its Navy is also running a live fire drill with the U.S. Naval destroyers in waters off the Korean peninsula.

Video of North Korea’s live fire drill is below.

As the United States gets tough with North Korea, Kim Jong Un keeps his propaganda machine running. In a front page editorial, state media said, “There is no limit to the strike power of the People’s Army armed with our style of cutting-edge military equipment including various precision and miniaturized nuclear weapons and submarine-launched ballistic missiles.”

At times, the dictator’s claims are comical, but President Trump isn’t laughing off these threats to our national security. He made a campaign promise to protect Americans and he’s taking that promise very seriously.
