Sturgill Simpson is a rough and tumble guy. The outlaw country singer doesn’t dabble in pretty boy bro-country. But like anyone else, he could use our prayers.
Sturgill took to social media to tell his fans that the finest person he ever met has passed away. He was lucky to call Lawrence “Good” Fraley his grandpa and now it’s time to say goodbye. He wrote a loving tribute to his hero.

Mr. Fraley sure sounds like he was a wonderful man. I remember reconsidering bad choices I was planning to make knowing I would disappoint my Grandpa. I understand the grief Sturgill is carrying right now and I will be praying for him.
