Willie Nelson

Willie Nelson is an American treasure. His songs appeal to just about everyone, cowboy, businessman, and hippie alike.

As you no doubt know already, Willie isn’t doing well. His recent health struggles have caused him to cancel some recent tour dates. Fans are concerned about him.

I’ve been lifting up prayers for Willie. I know, as a man of faith, he is doing the same.

We love Willie, but we know he’s a bit of leftist. But that hasn’t stopped him from being an open and honest Christian. For all his faults, Willie always comes back to Jesus and asks for forgiveness.

I think now more than ever since Willie might be “Too Sick To Pray“, we are going to have to do a lot of praying for him.

Willie’s never been afraid to pray. He’s never lost focus on the importance of prayer. Even in front of a big group of hippies or other singers who might not even believe in God.

In the video below, he is singing The Lord’s Prayer at FarmAid 2012.

Willie will always be a man of God. He’s not ashamed of his faith, even when surrounded by all those weirdo hippies!

In 1985, he founded Farm Aid along with fellow singers Neil Young and John Mellencamp. The organization works to change the system of factory farming and to help family farms survive and thrive. It’s website states, “Farm Aid works with local, regional and national organizations to promote fair farm policies and grassroots organizing campaigns designed to defend and bolster family farm-centered agriculture.”

Willie Nelson is always thinking of helping others. At this point, it’s important to offer up prayers for this country legend. We love you, Willie. We’re praying for you and hope you get better soon.
