Over 50 years after her death, Patsy Cline still is remembered as one of the greatest female country singers of all times. Her talent is unmatched.
Just ten days before her tragic death in a plane crash, Patsy performed “I Fall To Pieces” on the Glenn Reeves Show. It was her final television appearance.
Patsy’s good friend Dottie West said of the performance, “My God! She sings like an angel, and she looks like one. She sang the fire out of [‘I Fall To Pieces’] — like it had never been sung. She was really happy that day.”
The video of the performance is below. It’s worth watching again all these years later.
What a talent she had. Her songs and her voice have really stood the test of time as they are just as delightful to listen to a half century after her death.
