Hurricane Matthew is causing trouble on the east coast before it even makes landfall.
South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has ordered 1 million people to evacuate the coastal regions. The hurricane has 145 mph winds when it slammed into the Caribbean. It is predicted to hit the east coast on Thursday.
Haley has ordered people to get 100 miles away from the coast. With this action, she is also able to activate 1,800 National Guardsmen.
South Carolina isn’t the only state being affected by the Hurricane. The video below shows residents of Hollywood, Florida heading to stores for emergency supplies.
Hurricane Matthew has caused significant damage to Haiti. Videos, like the two below, have people in the south eastern United States preparing for the storm.
While the people in the coastal areas of South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida brace themselves for this storm, we will be praying for their safety.
