Childhood Star Gets All 4 Voice Judges To Turn Around in Blind Audition!

Viewers of The Voice got quite the treat when former child country star Billy Gilman sang “When We Were Young” by Adele. All four judges turned around seeking to be Billy’s coach in the blind audition.

Billy had taken a hiatus from the spotlight. He was the youngest person to hit the Billboard Top 40 at the age of 11 when “One Voice” hit the charts.

The judges were surprised when they realized who Billy was. Years ago, he opened for Miley Cyrus’s dad. You might be surprised who he ultimately chose. You can see the amazing performance in the video below.

That was amazing! With all four wanting to be Billy’s coach, it seems he has the opportunity to win this season. He certainly appears to have what it takes.

Billy has changed quite a bit since he broke through the charts at age 11. Watch “One Voice” below and see if you remember Billy from 2000.

It would be great to see Billy make a comeback. His style certainly has changed in the past 15 years.
