This is America’s Largest Firework, But Wait Until You See It Light Up the Sky!

When it comes to fireworks, bigger is almost always better. And the biggest firework ever launched in North America is something to behold.

When they roll it out prior to firing, it is so massive that it looks like a bomb!

I’ve never seen anything like that. All expectations were fulfilled when it was launched.

They had to use a camera way off in the distance to see the whole thing!

Two Years To Design

It took them two years to design this shell and fireworks display. This beast weighs over 1100 pounds! There are 58 pounds of black powder in the bottom of this massive mortar. When they light it up, they really don’t know what to expect or if it will even work properly since it’s the first one of this size to ever be used!

This demands a tremendous amount of work for a payoff that lasts a very short time. They put hundreds or even thousands of hours into something that will be enjoyed for about only 10 seconds!

As it heads up into the night sky, there is anticipation to see what it will look like.

Will it be a dud or will it enthrall people?

Multiple Cameras Used

Thankfully, they set up multiple cameras so we can view it from different angles and from in the distance.

That was absolutely gorgeous! That was so big that if you didn’t know it was a firework, you might think it was a bomb!

That is quite a work of art! These men just really upped the fireworks game. That’s a lot of work for one big bang, but it sure was beautiful!
