The American people have been listening to the fake news media for weeks and the coverage is always the same: Negative reporting and false analyses of the Trump Administration.

So when I say this new poll is a huge slap in the face to the mainstream media, you’ll know exactly what I mean after reading it.

A new Wall Street Journal-NBC News shows that Americans aren’t fooled by the media’s mean-spirited coverage of President Trump. The poll asked the following questions to 1,000 adults: “When you think about the future of the country, would you say that you are mainly hopeful and optimistic or mainly worried and pessimistic?”

The results, ladies and gentlemen, are astounding. Sixty percent of respondents say they felt hopeful and optimistic, compared to 40 percent who said they were pessimistic. That’s a bigger percentage of hopeful Americans than when the poll was conducted last year, under President Obama. In August 2016, only 54 percent of respondents said they were hopeful about the country’s future.

I love this. The American people should be optimistic over the Trump Administration because, after eight years of Obama, there’s nowhere to go but up in this country.
