The highly anticipated Yellowstone spinoff Y: Marshals adds 3 returning stars from the original series. From what we know so far, the series will focus on Luke Grimes, who will be reprising his role as Kayce Dutton, the youngest Dutton son, as he joins the U.S. Marshals in Montana, leaving his ranching days behind him.

The official logline reads: “Ex-Navy SEAL Kayce Dutton leaves Yellowstone Ranch to join U.S. Marshals, using his cowboy and military skills to fight crime in Montana while dealing with family ties and the mental toll of law enforcement.”
Now, along with Luke Grimes returning to his role, the spinoff series gained three more actors, all of whom fans have seen before. Y: Marshals adds 3 returning stars from the series, including Gil Birmingham, who plays Thomas Rainwater, Brecken Merrill, who plays Tate Dutton, and Mo Brings Plenty, who plays Mo.
Along with the returning faces, the series will also include Arielle Kiber as Belle, Ash Santos as Andrea, and Tantanka Means as Miles. All three will also be portraying members of the U.S. Marshals.
With the returning cast members from the original series, the spinoff will feel more familiar to the audience, even if it’s on a whole new path. With so many spinoff series in the franchise, it will be nice to see familiar faces, unlike the popular prequel series like 1923 and 1883.
Along with this news, another anticipated spinoff series to Yellowstone, The Dutton Ranch, recently added Annette Bening to the cast, which will serve as Beth and Rip’s spinoff series and their new adventure.
