On Thursday’s episode of the ABC talk show “The View,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg came completely unglued as she slammed pro-life advocates one day after the Supreme Court heard oral arguments about a Mississippi law that could potentially lead to Roe v. Wade being overturned.

Supreme Court Hears Abortion Case Dobbs v. Jackson

The segment began with clips being played showing the oral arguments in the case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which bans abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

Daily Mail reported that Goldberg took issue with comments that Justice Samuel Alito made during these arguments.

“The fetus has an interest in having a life,” Alito said. “And that doesn’t change, does it, from the point before viability to the point after viability?”

“There are those who say that the rights of personhood should be considered to have taken hold at a point when the fetus acquires certain independent characteristics,” he added. “But viability is dependent on medical technology and medical practice. It has changed. It may continue to change.”

Whoopi Goldberg Goes Off  About Abortion On ‘The View’

None of this sat well with Goldberg, who proceeded to go off after playing a clip of Alito’s comments.

“Do any of you men have any eggs or the possibility of carrying a fetus?” she said. “How dare you talk about what a fetus wants! You have no idea.”

“Now I’m fine if you disagree with abortion, I have no problem with that,” continued Goldberg. “My problem comes when you tell me what I need to do with my doctor and my family. How dare you! How dare you!”

Sara Haines Comments On Supreme Court Abortion Case

Goldberg’s co-host Sara Haines also had a problem with Chief Justice John Robert questioning why 15 weeks is not sufficient time for a woman to decide whether or not to abort a fetus.

“What he said, you know, that amount of weeks is arbitrary, it’s not,” Haines said. “To me this is the difference and why viability matters. You’re choosing between two lives. There’s a mother and a fetus. When the baby – or when the fetus is able to live outside of the mother, when it’s viable, that becomes equal ground. To me the mother should be put first until that baby can survive outside.”

“I am fearful about Roe v. Wade being overturned,” “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin added.

As per usual, tensions are high over the issue of abortion, and liberals are already preparing to lose their minds if Roe v. Wade gets overturned by the Supreme Court. A decision that would undoubtedly descend “The View” panel into utter chaos.
