Country fans are well aware of “Good Hearted Woman,” written by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. In 1972, Jennings soared to number three on the Billboard country chart with the classic song. Then, in 1975, the iconic pair recorded it together as a duet.

But, Waylon Jennings surprised everyone in the room when he brought up George Jones to sing “Good Hearted Woman.” George Jones helped Waylon put a different spin on this very loved song.

That was terrific! Much better than country songs of today. I’d also like to have heard the stories they each had to tell about each other! I bet those were pretty funny.
