The First Six Minutes
After nearly three years, Wednesday fans have gotten new content. The first six minutes of season 2 were shown at the TUDUM event and have also been posted on YouTube and other media platforms.
The clip begins with Wednesday tied up in a serial killer’s basement, surrounded by life-size dolls in a twisted tea party. “He’s under the delusion that I’m his next victim,” she says. “I’ll let him cherish that notion while I explain my predicament.”
Flashing back six weeks, Wednesday spends her summer vacation honing her psychic skills. With her powers under control, she sets out to find the Kansas City Scalper, her favorite serial killer as a child.
The next scene has Wednesday at an airport, where she struggles to get through security with all her weapons, and of course, Thing’s container of sunscreen.
Finally, Wednesday faces the Kansas City Scalper, played by Haley Joel Osment. The clip ends with Wednesday telling the killer, “Let me show you some of my own handiwork.”
TUDUM Announcement
TUDUM was full of exciting announcements for the future of Netflix, including a spooky performance by Lady Gaga. The singer was officially announced as joining the season 2 cast in a guest starring role. While her exact role has not been announced yet, fans are eager to see the “Bloody Mary” singer in the world of Wednesday.
Gaga took the stage at TUDUM for a Wednesday-themed performance. Emerging from a coffin embossed with the words “Here lies the monster queen,” she performed “Zombieboy” from her recent album Mayhem, a dance to the Cramps “Goo Goo Muck,” and “Abracadabra” from her newest album before returning to the coffin.
All things Lady Gaga
This will not be Gaga’s first acting role. Her acting credits include Joker: Folie à Deux, A Star Is Born, House of Gucci, and FX’s American Horror Story.
