Many were hoping to see beloved comedic actor Tim Allen recognized with an Emmy nomination for his work on “Last Man Standing” given the popular sitcom came to an end this year after nine amazing seasons. Instead, Allen found himself snubbed once again when Emmy nominations came out earlier this week.
Emmy Awards Snub Tim Allen Of ‘Last Man Standing’ … Again
Pop Culture reported that not only was Allen not nominated for an Emmy, “Last Man Standing” itself only received a single technical nomination.

While we’re glad to see the show recognized for something, it’s hard to ignore the snub to Allen and the rest of this outstanding cast in their final season.
But it’s unfortunately nothing new as the hilarious show has been snubbed repeatedly over the years by the Emmy Awards.
In fact, “Last Man Standing” was only ever nominated three times. IMDB reports the show was nominated once for cinematography and twice for editing but never won in any category.
Despite hilarious performances from Tim Allen, Nancy Travis, and more, the cast of “Last Man Standing” never received a single acting nomination.
Many would argue that it at least deserved one nomination for Best Television Comedy, but that never happened either.
In stark contrast, Tim Allen’s breakthrough sitcom “Home Improvement” received a whopping 34 Emmy Award nominations. Of course, that was long before award shows turned so overtly political.
And before Allen’s personal politics went on public display.

Perhaps “Last Man Standing” was snubbed by the Emmys so often because it was one of the few shows on television that dared to poke fun at liberals.
In an interview with USA Today, executive producer Kevin Abbott once described Allen’s character of Mike Baxter as “a traditionalist and a business Republican” who stands out “because you really don’t see a conservative character who isn’t an idiot or a villain (at) the center of the show.”
Hollywood is run by liberals who love to mock conservatives but hate being made fun of themselves, so it’s no surprise that one of their awards show “Last Man Standing” no love.

Tim Allen Thinks For Himself Politically
Allen himself is also one of the few actors in Hollywood who isn’t a liberal sheep and has said positive things about former President Donald Trump in the past.
“I literally don’t preach anything,” Allen said earlier this year while appearing on the WTF podcast. “What I’ve done is just not joined into, as I call it, the ‘we culture.’ I’m not telling anybody else how to live.”
“I don’t like that, ‘we should do this’ or, ‘we should do that,'” Allen continued, before shifting to Trump as he said, “Once I realized that the last president pissed people off, I kind of liked that. So it was fun to just not say anything. Didn’t join in the lynching crowd.”
The liberal elites of Hollywood like to reward stars who fall in line with leftwing ideologies, not actors who think for themselves like Allen does.
If it were just about the art, Tim Allen and “Last Man Standing” would undoubtedly have gotten some love from the Emmys this year. But, unfortunately it seems politics got in the way of that.
We’ll leave you with Mike Baxter’s parting words. Tim Allen and “Last Man Standing”, you will be missed.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being a part of the #LastManStanding family. 💙 pic.twitter.com/SVJryrLUWT
