It’s been confirmed. The Bachelor is renewed for season 30 during the 2025-2026 broadcast season; however, it comes with one big change to the series.

While the show’s romantic lead has not been revealed yet, there has been news on the dating reality show. Scott Teti, who served as the showrunner and executive producer in the upcoming tenth season of Bachelor in Paradise, will take on the same duties on the franchise’s main series, The Bachelor.
Teti has been confirmed to take over the top job from Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner, both of whom have departed the series in March due to allegations of a “toxic” and “hostile” workplace environment, according to Deadline.
Prior to joining The Bachelor crew, Teti was an executive producer for ABC’s Claim to Fame and Bravo’s Summer House, as well as several Married at First Sight spinoffs, so it seems like the show will be in good hands.
But this isn’t the only change coming to the long-running, beloved reality dating show. Reports have confirmed that The Bachelorette would not return for its 22nd season in its usual mid-year timeslot. Instead, fans will have Bachelor in Paradise to watch.
Thankfully, while you can’t see The Bachelorette, there will be an exciting twist coming to Paradise, which premieres July 7 on ABC. The show will feature fan favorites from The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette for the first time ever, joining familiar faces from past seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
In a press release on June 16, ABC said, “The Goldens are hitting the beaches of Bachelor in Paradise, proving that age is just a number as they bring their experience and a little extra spice to show the younger crowd how it’s done.”
While several changes and rearrangements are happening with the franchise, you can expect high-quality content coming from Scott Teti, who seems passionate about keeping the series running like it used to. Keep checking back for more news from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette franchises.
