So many people have labored through watching ABC’s “The View”, now hosted by Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar. The blatantly liberal morning show has been nothing but a nightmare for those looking for clarity on anything happening around the nation. Viewership of the show has dropped tremendously over the years because people just get fed up with watching hate coming from a panel not in tune with where America is going.

CBS’s “The Talk” is a newer, more bright and shiny way of looking at things and they are not agenda driven. Julie Chen, the host of the show, is known for hosting Big Brother on CBS, has drawn battle lines with the aging The View and she’s not holding any punches.

From Inquisitr:

Julie Chen is not holding back on her feelings when it comes to the rise and fall of The View. Chen, the longtime co-host of the popular CBS daytime show The Talk, told Bravo host Andy Cohen that ABC’s flagship morning chatfest is “withering away.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, Julie also said she believes rumors that the show’s former head honcho, Barbara Walters, is upset with the current status of the groundbreaking daily talk show that she created more than 20 years ago.

“I believed every word I read in Page Six,” Chen said of recent reports that Walters is furious with ABC over The View’s current format.

“There were contradicting sides and I believed that all of it was true. There’s a little bit of truth to everything. Someone said, ‘Oh she calls the control room and we take her notes seriously.’ I was like, she calls the control room. I don’t know if you take her notes that seriously. You probably make her feel like you’re taking it that seriously, but she doesn’t feel that way.”

Chen also mused that Walters is likely upset by the constant changes in the show’s co-hosting lineup. Most recently, popular co-host Candace Cameron Bure announced she is leaving The View due to the weekly cross-country travel and other career and family commitments.

“I do think that Barbara Walters is probably like, ‘This amazing show I created is now just kind of withering away with a revolving door of hosts that people can’t keep straight,’” Julie said. “I mean, I should know all of the names of the hosts and I don’t ’cause it changes so often.”

This isn’t the first time Julie Chen has trash-talked her rival daytime talk show, The View. The Wrap previously posted audio of a 2015 interview Chen did with Sirius XM radio host Howard Stern in which she said the show made a huge mistake by hiring Jenny McCarthy as a co-host a few years ago. At the time, Julie said McCarthy was like a fish out of water when talking politics during the Hot Topics segment.

As Bugs Bunny used to tell Daffy Duck in the cartoons, “this means war.”
