The royal family is undoubtedly in a panic after a source close to Meghan Markle revealed that the aspiring American actress kept a diary during her time in the United Kingdom.
Meghan Markle’s Secret Diary
According to Daily Mail, a close friend of Meghan’s revealed that the Duchess kept a diary that chronicles her journey from being a Hollywood actress to marrying into the British royal family. That source is none other than the 2018 guest-editor of British Vogue.
This first-person account of Meghan’s infiltration of the royal family is of particular interest to royal expert Andrew Morton. He famously authored the book “Diana: Her True Story” and as “Meghan: Hollywood Princess”.
“She is a good writer, with a nice turn of phrase,” said Morton. “Remember she studied English in her first year at Northwestern College.”
Of course, Meghan’s writing abilities have already been showcased to the world. She kept a detailed lifestyle blog prior to her marriage to Prince Harry.
So it’s doubtful that her diary would be notable for its writing quality.
Meghan also, somewhat infamously, included three quills on her personal coat of arms. The quills are supposed to represent ‘communication and the power of words’.
The juicy diary reveal comes right on the heels of a report that Meghan is desperate to have a new biography about her and Harry published immediately. Because she feels it will revamp her image.

“Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern A Royal Family” is a book written by journalists Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. The biography is due out in August.
But Meghan is reportedly determined to get the release date pushed up.
Meghan Markle Wants To Shatter Her ‘Diva’ Image
Why is that August biography so important? It’s said the book will take readers ‘beyond the headlines’ to reveal ‘unknown details’.
A source close to Meghan said that she “desperately wants to shatter this image of being a demanding diva who was rude to royal staffers and others on her quest for fame and power.”
“She said the book will help give her and Harry a clean slate. Meghan seems to think that readers will finally understand the monumental anguish and turmoil she had to endure with a stiff upper lip,” the insider continued, according to the UK Sun.
“Meghan said people need to see her vulnerable side, something the book does in great detail.”
“I think [Meghan] wants people to feel sorry for her, or at least have compassion for her and all she’s been through, which has been anything but a fairy tale,” the source added.
It’s All About Her Say
The insider also said that Meghan “had plenty to say about what went into the book, much more than the public is being led to believe.”
“The only way Finding Freedom was ever going to be published, was if Meghan had the final say and gave her seal of approval,” the source concluded.
Given how controlling Meghan was about the narrative in this biography, it certainly does not bode well for the royal family if her diary is as real and candid as we’re being told.
