Many liberals are rejoicing at Roseanne Barr‘s downfall. Unfortunately, their war on the comedian has had a devastating effect. This is evident in a heartwrenching interview she gave with her spiritual advisor Rabbi Shmuley Boteach in which she laments becoming a “hate magnet.”
The longtime TV star has had an emotional past few weeks. She was riding high on the phenomenal success of her series reboot only to suddenly be fired and become the scourge of leftists everywhere for what she claims was a misinterpreted tweet.
Boteach released the interview on his podcast. It was recorded over the phone the day after she was fired from ABC for her tweet about Valerie Jarrett. Barr stated that she didn’t know that Jarrett was African-American and therefore had no racist intent when she tweeted if Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby, it would be the Obama comrade.
“I have black children in my family. I can’t, I can’t let ‘em say these things about that, after 30 years of my putting my family and my health and my livelihood at risk to stand up for people,” a tearful Roseanne said. “I’m a lot of things, a loud mouth and all that stuff. But I’m not stupid, for God’s sake. I never would have wittingly called any black person, [I would never have said] they are a monkey. I just wouldn’t do that. I didn’t do that.”
“People think that I did that and it just kills me. I didn’t do that. And if they do think that, I’m just so sorry that I was so unclear and stupid,” she continued. “I’m very sorry. But I don’t think that and I would never do that. I have loved ones who are African-American, and I just can’t stand it. I’ve made a huge error and I told ABC when they called me.”
But, ABC didn’t want to hear it. Barr’s tweet gave the network the perfect excuse to boot the Trump supporter from the wildly popular show. These passes are only given to liberal actors like Peter Fonda who threatened Melania and Barron Trump but wasn’t given the boot by Sony Pictures.

Roseanne Barr lamented that even though she has accepted the harsh consequences of her words, she is still under attack by Trump haters who have made her a “hate magnet.”
“I lost everything, and I regretted it before I lost everything,” Barr told Boteach. “And I said to God, ‘I am willing to accept whatever consequences this brings because I know I’ve done wrong. I’m going to accept what the consequences are,’ and I do, and I have. But they don’t ever stop. They don’t accept my apology or explanation. And I’ve made myself a hate magnet. And as a Jew, it’s just horrible. It’s horrible.”

Roseanne Barr has paid a very stiff price for a tweet that she says was misinterpreted. It’s hard to imagine this consequences would have been the same if someone who isn’t a Trump supporter would have said it. But, these are the times that we live in and Hollywood is ground zero for the Resistance.
