The Who’s Roger Daltrey isn’t afraid to speak his mind. He doesn’t follow leftist talking points and is an independent thinker. And he said something about Hillary Clinton that will have you laughing!
In a recent interview, Daltrey was asked about Brexit, Donald Trump, and Hillary Clinton. He didn’t hold back.
Regarding Britain’s exit from the European Union, the Who singer said, “I am not anti-European, but I an anti the present way we are being governed in Europe. It’s got nothing to do with any of the immigration issues or any of that for me. It was to do with much more. The majority of this country felt that their voices weren’t being heard.”
“We are getting out, and when the dust settles I think that it’ll be seen that it’s the right thing for this country to have done, that’s for sure,” Daltrey continued.
Daltrey isn’t a fan of Hillary Clinton. When asked about the U.S. Presidential race, he said, “On other pieces of politics, let’s put it this way: when you say that middle America and the Democrats lost it, but Trump didn’t really win it—because Democrats threw it away by putting (Hillary Clinton) up. A dead dog would have won it against [her], look at that.”
OUCH! It’s a brutal assessment but very true!
If you want to enjoy a Who song after reading Daltrey’s comments, Baba O’Riley can be seen in the video below.
Daltrey was also asked about Donald Trump. His reply might make you chuckle as it wasn’t really political in nature. “His f—ing haircut! He needs it cut and as my mother would say, ‘wash your f—ing mouth out,’” he said.
Share this if you think Hillary Clinton was an awful candidate too!
