Hollywood star Robert De Niro has spent much of his time in the past few years nonsensically ranting against President Donald Trump. This week, De Niro opened his big mouth to speak out against the president once again during an interview with The New Yorker.
“He thinks he’s a mobster. He’s a mutt. And I’ve said that before. I’ve said it publicly,” De Niro said of Trump, according to Breitbart. “And everything that he says about other people—that they’re losers, that they’re this and that, every terrible thing he says—he’s really saying about himself. I don’t know what his parents did, I don’t know how they treated him, whatever, but it’s all projection.”
De Niro went on to say that Trump’s time in office has “been worse than I ever could think.”
“Cause he has no plan,” the actor said. “He has no center whatsoever. He even gives gangsters a bad name. ’Cause a gangster will give you his word and will pride himself—or herself. He doesn’t even understand that kind of logic. He thinks he’s slick and all that. There’s something wrong with him mentally.”
This comes just weeks after De Niro gave an interview in which he said that Trump’s presidency is a “nightmare” and “one of the worst” things he’s ever seen in his life.
“We’ve seen horrible things over the years,” says actor Robert De Niro to @HalaGorani, but the Trump presidency is “one of the worst that I have ever seen and ever thought I would see.” pic.twitter.com/Yt7StkuvEz

The fact that De Niro thinks that the American people should care at all what he thinks about politics shows just how egotistical he really is. When will these Hollywood elitists learn that all we want from them is to see them act, and the last thing we would like is for them to lecture us about their out of touch political beliefs?
Hollywood stars like De Niro don’t like Trump because he did not become president to help fill their pockets. Instead, he became president to help working-class Americans, and he has been doing that ever since he took office. De Niro and his Hollywood friends can kick and scream as much as they want to, but it won’t change the fact that Trump is here to stay!
